ON-DEMAND PRODUCTION AND SUSTAINABILITY

WHAT IS FAST FASHION AND WHY IS IT A PROBLEM?

Fast fashion refers to the rapid production of inexpensive clothing to keep up with the latest trends. This approach encourages frequent buying, overproduction and discarding of clothes, leading to significant waste and environmental harm.

OUR WAY OF PRODUCTION

Medicbear addresses the problems of fast fashion through on-demand production for our clothing. While it may not eliminate all issues related to textile waste, it offers a starting point towards reducing overproduction and pollution in the fashion industry.

On-demand production is a fulfilment method where products are created only after a customer places an order. This approach helps minimise textile waste by ensuring that items are manufactured only when needed.

In addition to our mindful production methods, we are proud of the high standards our fabrics meet. The fabric used in our clothes is certified by GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OCS (Organic Content Standard), and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), ensuring it meets rigorous sustainability and environmental guidelines. It is also OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which guarantees the fabric is free from harmful substances, and is PETA-Approved Vegan, aligning with ethical, cruelty-free practices.

Crafted from 100% organic cotton, our clothes reflect a commitment to quality, sustainability, and animal welfare, ensuring that every piece of clothing is not only made for you but also made responsibly.

MedicBear's prices reflect the nature of our on-demand production and planet-friendly process, which contrasts with traditional fast fashion brands that reduce costs by mass production and cheap fabrics.

Our way of production means each item is made just for you, which might take a bit longer to deliver—but remember, patience is a virtue, especially in our field.
